Our Goal… This workshop will examine the more moderate expressions of Islam and Christianity to inform mutual understanding of cultural and religious support in the contemporary diverse workplace. Of particular note are the 32,000 seafarers who come to our port each year, making possible our way of life.
Who Should Participate?
The Port Community: Owners, Terminal Operators, Union Personnel, and political leaders with an interest in the welfare and industry of the port.
The Faith Community: All Muslim and Christian leaders and clergy who engage the welfare of area workers and/or of seafarers. Congregational representatives interested in the well-being of diverse interfaith communities and the well-being of persons in the religiously diverse workplace.
